President Biden on Thursday signed into law a measure that makes June 19, or Juneteenth, a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.
Juneteenth, celebrates the true end of slavery in the United States. It’s also a day to celebrate Black culture & equality. Today communities and organizations throughout the country celebrate this momentous time in American history as we look forward to a bright future in unity.
