Jonathan Cox joined the firm after 9 years working in the insurance defense industry where he was a partner with a prestigious insurance defense law firm. His practice involved the defense of complex cases involving serious bodily injury, wrongful death and construction litigation. Jonathan offers the clients of Keller, Keller & Caracuzzo a unique perspective, extensive experience and significant understanding of how insurance companies defend and evaluate claims.
Jonathan is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, the highest level of recognition for attorney competency and experience. Board Certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar and is an accomplishment based on Jonathan’s extensive legal knowledge, skills and jury trial experience. Only a small percentage of lawyers in Florida are Board Certified.
Earlier in his career, Jonathan was a prosecutor for the Palm Beach County State Attorneys’ Office where he prosecuted crimes ranging from DUI to murder. In 2003 he earned the State Attorney’s Award for Dedicated Service.
In his distinguished career as an attorney, Jonathan has tried over 100 jury trials.
Jonathan graduated with honors from the University of Miami School of Law. He obtained his undergraduate degree in political science from Colby College in Maine.
Jonathan currently specializes in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, child abuse, automobile accidents, premises liability, construction defects, construction site accidents, water intrusion, mold, liquor liability, negligent security and products liability.
He lives with wife and 2 daughters in Palm Beach Gardens.
