The Florida House of Representatives has passed CS/HB 19 — the Responsible Roadways Act — on an 88 to 15 vote. The legislation, sponsored by Rep. Erin Grall would repeal the no-fault PIP system and require drivers to carry $25,000/$50,000 in bodily injury liability insurance. The Senate Banking and Insurance Committee earlier this week passed that chamber’s companion bill sponsored by Sen. Tom Lee.
